Inari Sushi

Ingredients (Serves 4-6)
  • 4 cups of Tamaki Rice
  • 1/2 cup of sushi rice vinegar
  • 12 pieces of inari-age (seasoned deep-fried
       tofu pockets)
  • 1/2 lb. sashimi quality salmon
  • 1/4 lb. of ikura
  • 1 cucumber
  • Soy Sauce

  • Preparation
    1. Make sushi rice by adding sushi vinegar to cooked Tamaki Rice while it is warm.
    2. Open the inari-age pockets to put sushi rice in later.
    3. Take a small handful of sushi rice and make it into a small rice ball.
    4. Stuff the rice ball into an inari-age pocket, and place it open-end up on a plate.
    5. Cut sashimi quality salmon into thin slices, and roll into a rose shape to put on top of the inari-age.

    Add ikura, sliced cucumber, and nori for more colors.


    Garnish with wasabi and soy sauce.
