Soboro Bowl

Ingredients (Serves 4-6)
  • 1/2 lb. ground chicken
  • 3 tbsp soy sauce, 4 tbsp mirin, 1 tsp minced ginger,
  •   1/2 tbsp natural sea salt
  • 4 cups steamed Tamaki Rice
  • 1/4 cup of green onions as a garnish
  • 4 fresh quail eggs as a garnish
  • Pickled takuan as a garnish

  • Preparation
    1. Put ground chicken, soy sauce, mirin, and ginger in a small pan.
    2. Simmer the meat on medium heat, stirring constantly with 3-4 chopsticks.
    3. Stir until meat becomes dry.
    4. Place steamed Tamaki Rice in donburi bowls.
    5. Put chicken on top of the Tamaki Rice.
    6. Sprinkle green onions as a garnish.
    7. Open and place quail eggs on top.
